Meisner School expands to Europe and Hawaii
March 15, 2008: Jim Jarrett announced today the expansion of his Meisner Technique School of Acting to Florence, Italy and the Big Island of Hawaii.
In both of these locations, Jarrett will teach "The Business of Your Dream" - a one month intensive retreat for actors where Jarrett will personally teach "Sandy's way" six days a week, three hours per day.
Every day will have a second, three hour session where Jarrett will teach on a myriad of topics pertaining to the most important aspect of any artists career - the business and marketing of their dream. Jarrett explains the motivation behind the one-month experience and what participants can expect:
“Sandy use to say, 'It's one thing to have a dream. It's quite another to pull it off.' And it's so true. Every hour of every day planes are landing at LAX packed with people from all over the world, beginning their dream of becoming an actor in Hollywood. And while those planes are landing just as many are taking off, packed full of people who’ve been crushed by that very same dream … and that’s because most actors, most artists are not very good at “the business of their dream”. In fact, there is nothing more common in Hollywood than talented, out-of-work actors. I’d like to help anyone interested in changing that.”
