The Meisner Technique School of Acting is not a blend of other techniques or “methods.” If you want to learn The Meisner Technique the way Sanford Meisner wanted it taught then welcome home.
The Meisner Technique School of Acting is open to anyone (adults only) regardless of previous training or experience.
The Meisner Technique is taught in two sessions - “the first year” and “the second year”. Both sessions are taught in three or four month quarters.
Class meets twice a week, three hours per class.
At the end of each quarter students must be invited to return.
Interested students should contact Regina Machelli, Director of Admissions at meisnerclass@jarrettproductions.com for details and to set up a private interview with Jim Jarrett where he will detail the specifics of the program, the commitment required, answer all questions. And then, he’ll conduct a brief interview for acceptance.
There is no audition for acceptance. The only requirement for acceptance is the sincere desire to call yourself an actor and have it truly mean something.
